Description

HD-7 Motor Oil is a heavy-duty motor oil for use in gasoline and moderate duty diesel engines. HD-7 meets or exceeds the API service SM, SL/CF level. This product is not recommended for use in applciations Performance Features requiring ILSAC GF-4 or GF-3 performance.

Application

HD-7 is recommended for use in gasoline and diesel engines under a variety of conditions. It is designed to meet the needs of consumers with a mixed fleet. Care should be taken to ensure these products meet the engine manufacturer requirements for each application.

Performance Features

The following are the features of HD-7 Motor Oil:

1. Wide range of grades for seasonal applications.
2. Higher TBN for use in light duty diesel applications.
3. Anti-wear additives to prevent engine wear.
4. Oxidation inhibitors prevent the oil from thickening under high engine heat conditions.
5. Detergents control engine deposits to keep engine aprts clean and disperse contaminants to improve oil filter efficiency.
6. Rust and corrosion inhibitors prevent rusting and pitting of metal surfaces in engines.
7. Foam depressants to control oil foaming in crankcase and hydraulic applications.

Availability

HD-7 is available in 5W30 and 10W30, 10W, 30, 40 and 50. By grade, HD-7 is available in the following pack sizes.
